This comic is horribly flawed in like every way. This Horsey person who made this comic is extremely misinformed. You want to know why they don’t raise taxes on big businesses? It’s because if they do they know that the business will start immediately making huge layoffs to keep their profit margin balanced with their expenses. Democrats just plain don’t give a damn what the economy is doing because they want it to crash so that it’ll give them a chance to step in and take total control of the economy thereby transforming our capitalist economy a socialist economy. Now would a socialist economy be better or a capitalist economy be better? It’s hard to say truly because we’ve never had anything other than a capitalist economy (as far as i know at least) but it is safe to say that for the past century or more we’ve been a growing consumer society and it would have devastating consequences if we just suddenly crashed the economy and switched to a socialist type. Not just for the monetary stand point but from a social stand point as well. As a society we believe that hard labor and factory jobs are beneath us because they’ve always been known as low paying jobs, and if they’re low paying how can you buy all the products you want? Well you can’t, and since you can’t according to the logic of our society you are low class. I’ll be the first to admit it’s a horrible system, why should anyone be judged like this? They shouldn’t, but no matter what since the beginning of everything the person with the most whatever has always been the one envied, and honestly I don’t see that ending any time soon. Our country, as I mentioned, has always been a capitalist society that is what it was founded on and hopefully that’s what it’ll continue to be so that it allows us the stability we need in order to function properly and maintain our current standard of living. If you think you’d be better off living in a socialist society go live abroad for a few years talk to the people there find out what they have to deal with, like crappy health care, the inability to move up in the world, the constant struggle to just live.
I don’t mean to rant or sound preachy, but I see these sorts of things and recognize how the logic in these kinds of comics would make sense to someone who doesn’t know the whole situation and it pisses me off. It’s like telling a child that the toy store is closed just so you don’t have to take them. It’s flat out lying to someone who will believe whatever you say as long as you make it funny or sound good.

I’ve been afraid since 2009 when Obama first got elected. My dad and I knew what he was after when he was running, he wants everything under the governments control, he wants there to be a division between the rich and the poor. He’s, for lack of better comparison at the moment, like the snake from the story of Adam and Eve. He is willing to say anything, make it sound like the best thing ever, only point out the flaws in his opponents so it seems like his way is even better, but when it comes down to it he’s fooling everyone. No one cared until now though, because the “free” health care was just the start, but it sounded good and it’s helped a few (and i do mean only a few), but give it another year or two eventually those who were struggling and couldn’t get health care are going to be struggling again to try and pay the government for this “free” health care, and if you don’t pay the government you go to jail. It saddens me that it took everyone this long to realize how horrible and dictator like our “president” actually is. The Republicans may have their flaws but there is one truth they will always stand by, and that is small government. Which means less of these frivolous positions, no infringing of peoples rights meaning you won’t have your internet taken away as an example, and the economy (typically) runs a lot better since they’re against major government spending. I’m not saying the Republican party is perfect, many people know and are against their views on gay marriage, immigration, and a few others, but really give them some time and speak out long enough and they’ll come around. Because opinions can be changed, the younger generation is more open and accepting of homosexuality, but what can’t be changed is the damage that a socialistic society would do to our country.
